Online Booking Terms and Conditions
The Online Booking Terms and Conditions below apply from February 1, 2017.
Please read our Online Booking Terms and Conditions, as well as our General Terms, as you will be required to confirm that you have read and understood them before your booking is confirmed.
Following these guidelines will help you understand what to expect from us and what we need from you to successfully complete your booking.
The Lingerie Restaurant reserves the right to change these Terms of Use at any time, with changes posted online on the Site. It is the sole responsibility of the User to check and comply with them each time they use the Site. Using the Site after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms of Use. If you do not agree with the changes or the Terms of Use in general, you should immediately stop using the Site and Services.
By accessing, using, and downloading materials from the Site, the User agrees, on their own behalf and/or on behalf of the entity they represent, to promptly comply with these Terms of Use, ensuring they have the authority to act on behalf of the third party they represent, if applicable.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms of Use, as well as the User’s relationship with The Lingerie Restaurant under them, are governed by the applicable laws of the Portuguese Republic. The User and The Lingerie Restaurant agree to submit exclusively to the jurisdiction of the judicial courts of the district of PORTO for resolving any legal matters arising from the Terms of Use, without prejudice to mandatory applicable legal provisions. Nevertheless, The Lingerie Restaurant may seek precautionary measures (or legally equivalent urgent compensation) in any jurisdiction.
BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
All bookings are subject to a deposit payment of 30% of the total booking amount, or the customer may enjoy a discount for advance payment of the dinner through online bookings.
Payment can be made via MB reference or Paypal (Visa and Mastercard).
The invoice for the payment made will be issued on the day of service after registering the products in the POS system. If the customer requests an invoice with NIF/NIPC, this must be done at the start of the dinner.
Dinner is always paid before the service. The customer can pay at the time of booking or upon arrival at the restaurant. Also, upon arrival and payment, the main course choice (Fish, Meat, or Vegetarian) will be requested. To speed up the process, we ask that you review the menu and choose your dish in advance.
Suggestion: The group leader should collect payment from all members and ask for the preferred main dish…(if meat, also ask if they prefer it Well Done, Medium, or Rare)
SCHEDULES AND SEATING TIMES
Customers are required to respect the start and end times of the seating shifts, previously announced for the proper operation of the restaurant. Unforeseen circumstances do not justify delays that may disrupt service to other customers.
CANCELLATIONS
The procedure for total or partial cancellation (reduction in the number of people previously booked) must be made by email, replying to your original booking confirmation.
Cancellation: If the cancellation notice is given up to 7 days before the dinner date, you will have the option to reschedule for another date to be agreed upon.
If the cancellation notice is given during the week before the dinner date (less than 7 days), 30% of the booking value will be retained. The same applies to bookings made less than 7 days before the dinner date that are cancelled fully or partially.
The booking amount is non-refundable in case of no-show.
MINORS
The restaurant is for persons over 18 years old; however, minors may dine if accompanied by their legal guardians or by adults who provide a written authorization from the minor’s parents.
Children under 12 years old are not accepted, even if accompanied by parents or legal guardians.
INTOXICATED PERSONS
Access to the restaurant may be denied to customers who appear visibly intoxicated at the time of entry. In this case, no refunds will be given for payments already made at the time of booking.
PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
For privacy reasons and because some customers prefer not to appear in others’ photos/videos, we kindly ask you to avoid capturing images or only do so at your own table.
SEMAPHORES
Each table has a holder with 3 cards that define how you want to participate in the dinner.
Displaying the Red Card: Dancers do not approach the table, meaning you only want to watch the show.
Displaying the Orange Card: Dancers may approach the table but must be moderate in their approach.
Displaying the Green Card: Dancers may approach the table and interact with customers.
DRESS CODE
A smart casual attire is suggested (a harmonious and elegant look in terms of tones, colors, fabrics, shoes, and accessories).
COMPLAINTS AND RESOLUTION
If you have any complaints, please inform us immediately.
If you do not inform us about your complaint, our ability to investigate and resolve the issue will be greatly hindered. Therefore, unless there are reasons not to, we are not responsible for complaints not sent to us by Email at apoio@lingerieporto.com.
